Model Forcing Data

Many simulation models require meteorological forcing data. For instance, hydrodynamic simulation models for lakes and oceans are driven by the wind shear at the water surface, microscale models for the circulation between buildings by the wind above rooftop level.

Thanks to our research projects and the longtime cooperation with other developers we have gained many years of experience with interdisciplinary work. For example, simulations of the water quality for many European barrages and lakes (a.o. Loch Lomond, Lac du Bourget, Lake Constance) have been run with our model data.
